Mandas holds Is Animeddas on Saturday, October 31, 2026, an afternoon devoted to old Sardinian customs of the eve of All Saints' Day. At 15:00, children walk the town's streets and knock on doors to ask for offerings, as young participants once did while symbolically standing in for the souls of the dead. Traditional gifts included pabassinas, pane 'e sapa, pomegranates and chestnuts.
At 16:00, a traditional laid table is set up at the Monte Granatico. It reflects the belief that the dead return home that night, which is why knives and forks were left off. Sweets and prizes follow, then a treasure hunt for kids. The town council organizes the event with Acli, Cif, Mariposa and the Pro Loco. No price or booking details have been given.
