Capichera is a winery in the Gallura region of northeastern Sardinia, situated along the Strada Statale 427 between Arzachena and the interior. Gallura is the native territory of Vermentino, and Capichera is one of the area's most respected producers, known for elevating this indigenous white grape to considerable critical attention.
The estate offers guided tours of the vineyard followed by structured tastings in outdoor areas that look out over the vines. Tastings are paired with local food and run at a relaxed pace, making them a substantial visit rather than a quick stop. A premium format featuring a larger selection of wines is available. The grounds include olive trees as well as vines, and the natural setting forms an integral part of the experience.
