Lollovers is a family-run agriturismo and trattoria located in Lollove, a small ancient village in the Barbagia Nuorese region of inland Sardinia. The restaurant occupies a restored traditional house, and the interior reflects that heritage through the use of natural wood, vintage objects and eclectic detailing.
The kitchen draws on produce grown on the property itself — vegetables, dairy and eggs among them — and the menu centres on authentic Barbagia cooking. Dishes include Sardinian classics such as porcetto, capretto al mirto and sebadas. A vegan menu is also available, going well beyond simple grilled vegetables. The agriturismo additionally offers pasta-making courses for those interested in learning traditional shapes and techniques.
Lollove sits in the hills above Nuoro and the road up to the village is narrow and winding, so visitors are advised to drive carefully. The journey, however, opens onto a peaceful and largely undisturbed village with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape.
