Cagliari's first Dicembre Cagliaritano brings roaming entertainment to the historic center on twelve evenings between November 27 and December 30. Acts include musical numbers from The Greatest Showman, One Day More and The Rocky Horror Picture Show, plus living statues, Santa's sleigh, superheroes, the Marching Band Peter's Day and dancing fountains near the port.
The Teatro Lirico's Dicembre al Lirico, with spaces on via Sant'Alenixedda, offers the opera Figlie di maggio-Fillas de maju on December 11 and 12, a free DJ night, Lirico Night, on December 15, The Nutcracker ballet from December 22 to 24, and Stefano Bollani's jazz on December 31. On December 13, the Conservatorio presents six works from a contest about the 1906 cigar workers' uprising.
