The Cammino Minerario di Santa Barbara, the mining and pilgrimage route through the Sulcis-Iglesiente, has a new app for Android and iOS. Walkers can look up routes and get a warning if they stray from the track. The app also helps them find lodging, services and points of interest.
The Mìnera Card is now digital as well. Walkers scan a QR code to log each stage and earn tokens, which they can spend at partner businesses along the way. The route also goes on Google Street View from October, so you can preview paths and posadas from home.
The sources give no prices or booking details.
