Ferrari: Fury & The Monster was presented in Porto Rotondo as one of the first exclusive screenings of the documentary dedicated to the legendary Ferrari 250 GTO and the visionary engineer Mauro Forghieri.

The screening took place at the Mario Ceroli Theatre, bringing together cinema, automotive history and the international atmosphere of Porto Rotondo.

Rather than focusing only on the cars themselves, the film explored the story, philosophy and engineering culture behind Ferrari — a brand that has long occupied a place not only in motorsport, but also in Italian design and cultural identity.

The Ferrari 250 GTO remains one of the most recognisable and significant models in the history of the marque. Its reputation is built not simply on rarity or performance, but on the balance between engineering, proportion and visual identity that made it immediately distinctive.

Mauro Forghieri’s role adds another dimension to this story. As one of the key engineering figures in Ferrari’s history, his work represents the technical intelligence behind the emotion and mythology associated with the brand.

The event in Porto Rotondo was presented by Exclusive Car, a premium car sales showroom operating in Sardinia and across Europe, which also curated the selection of Ferrari cars displayed during the evening.

After the screening, guests were invited to continue the evening at the Yachting Club of Porto Rotondo, where cinema and automotive history moved naturally into a more social setting.

The presence of the cars created a direct connection between the story shown on screen and the physical objects themselves — allowing guests to move from the history and engineering behind Ferrari to the cars that embody that language in real life.

Porto Rotondo was a particularly fitting setting for this type of event.

Its architecture, marina, cultural spaces and international audience create a context in which automotive culture feels connected to the wider identity of the destination rather than presented as something separate from it.

That is also what makes events of this kind interesting in Sardinia.

Alongside the island’s landscape, hospitality and yachting culture, there is a growing space for design, art, automotive and international cultural projects.

Ferrari: Fury & The Monster was a good example of how these worlds can meet naturally — through cinema, engineering, place and the shared fascination with objects that carry both technical and cultural meaning.
